Applying for finance with humm is simple.

You can visit humm.ie to log in, sign up, or apply for an amount to spend. In many cases, you may receive a decision in as little as a few minutes.

For in-store purchases at The Sofa Shop, a member of our team can guide you through the finance process and explain the payment plans available for your chosen sofa or furniture order.

Finance terms may depend on the total value of your order, including delivery.

Who Can Apply for Finance?

To apply for humm finance, you will generally need to meet the following criteria:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be an Irish citizen or permanent resident of Ireland
• Have a regular taxable income
• Provide proof of PPS number and proof of address
• Have valid photo ID
• Have a current credit or debit card in your own name
• Have a good credit history

Approval is not guaranteed. humm will assess each application individually, and The Sofa Shop cannot predict whether an application will be approved or what spending limit may be offered.

• Contact details, including your mobile number and email address

Can I Apply for Finance In-Store?

Yes. Finance can be arranged in-store at The Sofa Shop.

A member of staff can show you the payment plans available through humm for your chosen sofa or furniture order. The process is completed securely, and the final agreement is reviewed and accepted by you on your own device.

• Confirming your mobile number
• Entering the order details
• Selecting the available payment plan
• Sending the finance link to your phone or email
• Reviewing the agreement on your own device
• Accepting the agreement using a secure code
• Adding your payment card
• Choosing your repayment date where available
• Completing the purchase

Once completed, your Retail Instalment Payment Plan Facility Agreement will be emailed to you.

When Do Repayments Start?

For no-interest and no-fee products, the first payment may be due shortly after the purchase date, depending on whether your repayment plan is weekly, fortnightly, or monthly.

For monthly agreements, the first payment is usually taken within approximately 31 days of purchase. Where available, you may be able to choose a repayment date that suits your income schedule.

Please check your humm agreement carefully for your exact payment dates, repayment amount, and any applicable fees.

Are There Any Fees or Charges?

Some humm finance plans may include fees or charges, depending on the retailer, the finance product, and the plan selected.

Who Provides the Finance?

Finance is provided by humm, operated by FlexiFi Europe Limited trading as humm.

FlexiFi Europe Limited trading as humm offers a Retail Instalment Payment Plan Facility and is regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland.

The Sofa Shop is not the lender. All finance applications, approvals, repayment terms, and credit decisions are managed by humm.
