What Is Covered?

Our 10-year frame guarantee covers the main wooden frame structure of your sofa or chair against manufacturing defects for 10 years from the date of purchase.

Other components of your sofa are covered separately as follows:

• Sofa frame: 10 years against manufacturing defects
• Upholstered interiors, including foam, fibre, and filling: 12 months
• Covering materials, including fabric or leather: 12 months
• Springs, recliner mechanisms, electrical components, and moving parts: 12 months

What Is Not Covered?

The Sofa Shop guarantee does not cover damage caused by:

• Accidental damage, misuse, neglect, or wilful damage
• Normal wear and tear from everyday use
• Damage caused by incorrect use, poor care, or failure to follow care instructions
• Damage caused by pets, burns, cuts, stains, spillages, or exposure to heat or sunlight
• Commercial, rental, institutional, or non-domestic use
• Repairs, alterations, or modifications carried out without prior approval from The Sofa Shop
• Damage caused by abnormal storage conditions, dampness, or improper handling

Important Information

• The frame refers to the main structural support of the sofa or chair before upholstery is applied. It does not include springs, mechanisms, electrical parts, padding, foam, fibre, fabric, leather, stitching, feet, recliner handles, buttons, zips, or other non-structural components.
• Any repaired or replacement product, part, or component supplied under this guarantee will remain covered only until the end of the original guarantee period.
• This guarantee applies to the original purchaser only and is non-transferable. Proof of purchase will be required for any guarantee claim.
• Our 10-year frame guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
